Maritime NZ and NZQA approved radio and captain’s licences. Skipper Restricted Limits (SRL) with a 4-week block course — train locally in Te Anau, Bluff and Picton.
The Maritime NZ command licence for vessels up to 12m (24m endorsed). NZ Certificate in Domestic Maritime Operations (Level 4). Four intakes with a 4-week block course.
SRL course →Maritime Restricted Radio Operator Certificate — the minimum licence for commercial users of maritime radios. Online self-directed study, exam arranged on completion.
MRROC course →Required by all users of marine VHF under NZ law. Study online, or in-classroom.
VHF course →We train crews across New Zealand's commercial fishing, aquaculture and tourism fleets.
