At this level, learners take responsibility for the work of others. The qualification covers implementing and monitoring staff work routines, legislative and food-safety compliance, and the oversight of fish and fish-product processing operations and quality control.

Builds on the Level 3 certificate [Ref 3130] and supports progression toward Level 5 seafood advanced operations. It is the senior component of the Seafood Processing apprenticeship.
