An entry-level qualification that recognises the core skills and safe work practices needed to start a career in the New Zealand seafood industry.
This workplace-based programme gives new and entry-level staff a recognised foundation, and provides a clear training pathway into the seafood sector. Graduates are able to carry out practical tasks and apply safe work practices in an entry-level seafood role.
It can also be delivered as a Limited Credit Package (LCP) — a shorter, customised selection of skills that works well as a structured introduction for new employees.
Food safety is central to every seafood role — see our seafood food safety & compliance consulting.
New and entry-level employees in seafood processing and aquaculture, and anyone wanting recognised skills and a pathway into the industry.
